I have been working with Ben on my strength & conditioning for over 5 years now.  In that time I’ve noticed huge improvements in my range of motion, strength, power and anaerobic capacity.  Despite my age, I feel like I will continue to progress in all those areas; that belief stems from my utter confidence in Ben and his coaching ability.  What I like about Ben is that first, and most importantly, the programmes he creates work and don’t expose me to injury.  Secondly, I feel like Ben is totally committed to me and really wants me to improve. I see regular strength & conditioning sessions with Ben as integral to my ability to perform into old age at an optimum level within my sport; and I wholeheartedly recommend him to others.

I came to Ben to work on getting stronger and not get so out of breath when running after the kids! I was a little hesitant having gotten out of the rhythm of going to the gym, but he was fantastic at pitching the sessions to my level and helping me lose weight and getting me to the fittest I’ve been! I’m an international level fencer and was coached in S&C by Ben for the 2009-2010 season. In this year, I won three domestic opens, and became 5 Nations team champion and Commonwealth Team Champion representing England.

I have no doubt that the S&C sessions I took part in helped enormously with my competition performances. It was fantastic working with Ben; his enthusiasm and support were second to none. He kept each workout both tough and enjoyable, and had the confidence in me which I needed to help me progress in my S&C sessions and fencing competitions. This season was the hardest yet, and I believe it would not have gone as well if I hadn’t developed my strength and power with the help from Ben.

Ben has been my strength and conditioning coach for just under 3 years, preparing me for the rigors of club and international level football which included playing in 2 World cups and a European championship. The sessions included speed, strength and power exercises as well as working on my agility/movement, which I felt had a massive transfer to how I played on the pitch. He was a great coach to work with and would highly recommend him.
